By Air: Indigo, Jet Airways, Go Air, and Spice Jet offer direct flights from Pune to Leh, with a minimum travel time of approximately eight to ten hours, including layovers. Some flights may have layovers in Delhi.
By Train: Ladakh is not directly accessible by train from Pune. The recommended option is to take a train from Pune to Delhi and then connect to Jammu Tawi Railway Station. From Jammu, you can choose a taxi for the remaining journey.
By Road: Pune does not have direct bus services to Ladakh. Travel by bus from Pune to Delhi ISBT Kashmiri Gate and then from Delhi’s ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Jammu Bus Stand, covering about 2,000 km in approximately 35 hours. From Jammu, various transportation options are available to reach Ladakh, including local shared taxis, bus services, private taxis, and Volvo buses departing from Jammu Bus Stand. Private and shared taxi services operate throughout the day from the railway station, Jammu Bus Stand, and Gumat Chowk exits. The journey from Jammu to Ladakh takes around 20 to 24 hours, covering a distance of about 600 km.
