BY AIR: Indigo, Jet Airways, Go Air, and Spice Jet provide direct flights from Chandigarh to Leh, with a minimum travel time of three hours. Some flights may involve a layover in New Delhi.
BY TRAIN: There are no direct trains from Chandigarh to Ladakh. However, you can take a train to Jammu Tawi Railway Station and then travel to Ladakh by taxi or other means.
BY ROAD: Chandigarh does not have a direct bus connection to Leh. Take a bus from Chandigarh to Delhi’s ISBT Kashmiri Gate, then another to Jammu Bus Stand, covering approximately 500 kilometers in 10 hours. Various modes of transportation are available from Jammu to Ladakh, including local shared taxis, bus services, private taxis, and Volvo buses that depart from the Jammu Bus Stand. Private and shared taxis operate all day from the railway station, Jammu region Bus Stand, and Gumat Chowk exits. The journey from Jammu to Kashmir takes eight to ten hours and covers approximately 300 kilometers.
