By Air: Indigo, Jet Airways, Go Air, and Spice Jet offer direct flights from Delhi to Leh, with a minimum travel time of three hours. Some flights may include a layover in New Delhi.
By Train: Board the four-day-a-week Swaraj Express or the Friday-only Vivek Express from Delhi to reach Jammu Tawi Railway Station in approximately 27 hours. From Jammu, you can opt for a taxi to cover the remaining distance.
By Road: Ladakh is not directly accessible by bus from Delhi. Take a bus from Delhi to ISBT Kashmiri Gate and then another bus from Delhi’s ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Jammu Bus Stand, covering about 600 km in around 11 hours. Various transportation options are available from Jammu to Kashmir, including local shared taxis, bus services, private taxis, and Volvo buses departing from Jammu Bus Stand. Private and shared taxi services operate throughout the day from the railway station, Jammu Bus Stand, and Gumat Chowk exits. The journey from Jammu to Kashmir takes approximately eight to ten hours, covering a distance of about 300 km.
